A chinese dragon
China has an absolutely enormous mining sector and it was important for us to firstly get a true picture of how the industry interacts with government and where our opportunities may exist. Secondly we needed to find the right people to talk to without investing years of business development. As participants on a business research tour with MESCA we were able to achieve what we needed within a couple of weeks. MESCA have been especially helpful in tailoring their support to suit our requirements.

On a recent trip to China we had the pleasure of using the support and guidance of Barbara Grieve from the Australia-China Developments Centre. Barbara’s extensive network of business contacts and intimate knowledge of “how things are done” in China was an exceptional asset to have access to. I was especially pleased by her ability to translate issues of a technical nature. The coordination of our activities to suit the expectations of our clients was impressive. We will continue to collaborate with Barbara for our ongoing business development in China.
